Ordered the seafood pho and I must say, it is good quality seafood. The broth had enough flavor that complemented the seafood and they do not skimp on the quantity of seafood. A little pricy for a bowl of pho but with the flavors and serving, it is worth it.

The restaurant is not large in size which can be a way for noise control. The time we went was not busy considering it is dinner time.

They have a basic menu for beer and wine, do not expect anything if you want fancy selections.

I stopped by here for lunch with my dog, Charlie, on a Saturday.  There was plenty of outdoor seating and the outdoor seating is situated like most of the restaurant on University Ave.  I ordered their shrimp spring roll, grilled chicken banh mi and their walking chicken pho.

I tasted the pho broth immediately and initial thoughts was that it's light, a little less flavor than I would like but I still liked it.  The shredded chicken pieces are one of the most tender and succulent I've had at any pho restaurants.  I normally get dried tasting chicken pieces in other pho restaurants.  They also offer a chicken pho for $2 less.

The spring rolls was also good and looks like it was made to order.  The peanut sauce is on par with other pho restaurants.

I only ate half of the grilled banh me sandwich mostly because I was getting full but I still enjoyed it.  The baggutte was soft and warm, you get pieces of chicken, cilantro, pickled radish and carrot with every bite.

Now the prices.  I see a fair number of complaint about the price and how they can get it cheaper and better elsewhere .  That's probably the case in most instances but you should have known that going into this restaurant.  I knew the prices and still wanted to try it and it was a good meal.  It more than what I would typically pay for banh mi and a bowl of pho but I didn't let that hinder my experience.  The staff were nice, attentive and brought water immediately.  I can't also take Charlie with me to a vast majority of pho restaurants so I really like that aspect of Pho Banh Mi also.

Total bill was around $48 with taxes and tips.

I worked at a Vietnamese restaurant for over a year and ate delicious, authentic pho for over a year... and this place has some great pho too!

The service was friendly, and even though it was very busy on a Friday night, the pho came out in a reasonable amount of time ~15 minutes. The great thing about Pho Banh Mi is that it's clean and modern, which is not typical of viet restaurants. In fact, the last time I was in Palo Alto, I was hoping to find a place just like this one, and it didn't exist yet! Now it does, and I highly recommend giving it a visit. It's delicious!

Delicious! I've been to their other location Green Bakery/ Pho Banh Mi in Los Altos and this one was just as good! It's in a great location too! Had the pho and fried egg rolls which was flavorful and fresh. Staff was pleasant n friendly. Would recommend and definitely will be back again.

This spot is awesome!  Place is in a great location right in the midst of Palo Alto downtown .  Feels relaxing and open to the outside dine area with fresh air.  The music, decor, and vibe is perfect along with the great food.  The food choices here is really good, one of the better Vietnamese restaurant I've experienced.  The young waitress is very helpful with the menu, super nice and does great service.  I am surprise!!  Totally recommend this restaurant!
